Wind becoming south 40 to 50 early this afternoon except variable 25 to 35 over western sections this evening. Wind becoming south 35 to 45 near midnight except northwest 25 to 35 over western sections. Wind becoming southwest 35 Sunday morning except northwest 20 to 30 over western sections. Wind diminishing to northwest 25 near noon Sunday then backing to southwesterly 20 Sunday evening.

Rain changing to showers near noon Sunday. Visibility 1 mile or less in rain.

By 4:00 a.m. PST Sunday ridge located over southern BC interior.

At 4:00 a.m. PST today intensifying frontal system located over
the offshore waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:56 AM PST 8 November 2025 A frontal system will intensify over northern and central waters, and
waters surrounding Northern Vancouver Island this morning. Gale to
storm force southeasterly winds are forecast today through late
Sunday.
