By 4:00 p.m. PDT today weakening frontal system located from Hecate
Strait to Explorer.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Tuesday building ridge located west of the
offshore waters.

Issued 3:47 AM PDT 8 June 2026 A frontal system over Haida Gwaii is generating southerly gales over
northern and central waters. These southerly gales will diminish
This morning as the frontal system stalls off the coast from Hecate
Strait to the west coast of Vancouver Island and weaken.

This front will move across Vancouver Island early Tuesday. Westerly
gales will develop over Juan de Fuca Strait Tuesday morning in the
wake of the front.
