northeast-southwest over Victoria.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today low located west of Bowie.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Friday weakening low located off Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:09 AM PDT 13 June 2024 A ridge of high pressure will drift southeastward across Vancouver
Island this afternoon.

Ahead of the ridge, gale force westerly winds will develop through
Juan de Fuca Strait early this evening and then ease overnight.
