Wind becoming northwest 25 to 35 early this afternoon then diminishing to northwest 15 to 20 early this evening. Wind backing to southwest 10 to 20 near midnight then increasing to southwest 25 to 35 Monday morning with gusts to 40 except west 25 over northern sections Monday afternoon. Wind becoming west 20 to 30 Monday afternoon.

Rain changing to showers this evening then to rain Monday morning. Visibility 1 mile or less in rain.

Issued 4:00 AM PST 9 November 2025 Today Tonight and Monday At 4:00 a.m. PST today frontal system located over eastern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today weakening frontal system located from Hecate
Strait to Cape St. James then to Explorer.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today weakening ridge located over southern
BC interior.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight trough located west of the offshore waters.
By 10:30 a.m. PST Monday trough located over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:26 AM PST 9 November 2025 An intense frontal system will continue to generate gale to storm
force southeasterly winds this morning over northern and central
waters. A brief period of marginal southeasterly gales is expected
over northern sections of the Strait of Georgia late this morning and
this afternoon.

Strong to gale force northeasterly outflow winds through Howe Sound
will weaken this morning.
