Wind southwest 25 to 35 knots increasing to southwest 35 to 45 late this morning with gusts to 50 then diminishing to southwest 35 early this evening. Wind diminishing to southwest 20 late this evening then increasing to southwest 35 overnight. Wind increasing to southwest 45 to 55 near noon Monday with gusts to 65 beginning Monday afternoon. Wind diminishing to west 35 Monday evening.

Issued 4:00 AM PST 7 December 2025 Today Tonight and Monday At 4:00 a.m. PST today departing trough located over Hecate Strait.

At 10:00 a.m. PST today trough located over Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today trough located on a line east-west over
Langara.

At 9:30 p.m. PST Monday warm front located over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:00 AM PST 7 December 2025 The first in a series of troughs over Hecate Strait early this
morning will depart. Gale force southerlies across the northern and
central waters will briefly diminish to strong. A second trough will
quickly move into the northern waters this morning. Winds across
The northern and central waters will rise again to southwest gale
force late this morning.

A frontal system moving through on Monday will bring storm force
westerlies across Bowie and the northern waters. Hurricane force
gusts are possible with this system. Southwesterly gales will develop
across Explorer and southern waters on Monday with this frontal
system, spreading into Juan de Fuca late Monday.
