Issued 4:00 PM PDT 31 October 2024 Tonight and Friday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today low 999 mb located over Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Friday dissipating low 1002 mb located near the
West Entrance of Juan de Fuca Strait.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Friday approaching ridge located west of the
offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:26 PM PDT 31 October 2024 A low pressure system over Explorer will slowly track toward
Vancouver Island tonight and reach the west entrance of Juan de Fuca
strait by Friday afternoon.

Southeasterly strong to gale force winds ahead of the system will
persist over the central and southern waters tonight. These winds
will gradually ease overnight into Friday morning as the low weakens.
