By 4:00 a.m. PST Wednesday departing frontal system located on a
line north-south over Hecate Strait.

At 4:00 a.m. PST today quasi-stationary ridge located over BC
interior.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:34 AM PST 21 January 2025 An approaching frontal system will track across Haida Gwaii tonight
and onto the North Coast Wednesday morning. Ahead of the front,
southeast gales will develop over Bowie this morning and then spread
to northern waters tonight. In its wake, winds will gradually ease to
moderate to strong southerly overnight through Wednesday.
