Hecate Strait.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today building ridge located off Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Wednesday ridge located from Explorer to the
Central Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday trough located west of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Wednesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:18 AM PDT 17 September 2024 A building ridge over the offshore waters will strengthen as a trough
exits and tracks southwards towards Vancouver Island today.

Strong to gale force northwesterlies will strengthen with the
building ridge this morning and persist into the early evening and
ease later tonight.
