Issued 9:30 PM PDT 10 May 2025 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight trough located on a linenorthwest-southeast over eastern Explorer.
By midnight PDT tonight dissipating trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Vancouver Island.
At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight low 1007 mb located west of Haida Gwaii.
By 10:00 a.m. PDT Sunday dissipating low located west of Haida
Gwaii.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:19 PM PDT 10 May 2025 A trough over Explorer is moving towards Vancouver Island. Southeastgale force winds along Brooks Peninsula will veer to southwest strong
in the wake of the trough this evening.
A low just west of Haida Gwaii in combination with a building ridge
offshore will tighten the pressure gradient over offshore waters.
By Sunday morning northerly gales will develop over Bowie and will
persist until early Sunday evening.
