north-south over the Central Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday building ridge located over Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:35 AM PDT 2 May 2025 A frontal system over Haida Gwaii will move onto the Central Coast
this afternoon.

Ahead of the front, strong southeasterlies over northern and
Central waters will continue this morning before shifting to strong
westerly in its wake near midday. Winds will briefly rise to
southerly gale force near the headlands of Vancouver Island
And Queen Charlotte Sound this morning as the front passes.
