Issued 7:55 AM PDT 14 July 2025 Today At 8:00 a.m. PDT today quasi-stationary ridge located west of Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:45 AM PDT 14 July 2025 A ridge of high pressure offshore will remain quasistationary until
Wednesday. This will is generating strong to gale force
northwesterlies west of Vancouver Island and into the inner South
Coast waters.

Winds will diminish through the inner South Coast through
Today starting in Juan de Fuca Strait and progressing northward to
Johnstone Strait.

Northwesterly gales will continue west of Vancouver Island and
develop over Explorer during the day on Monday and continue onto
Tuesday. By Tuesday evening these gales will also extend to Hecate
Strait and the west side of Haida Gwaii.
