over southern Haida Gwaii.

Issued 3:53 PM PDT 14 May 2024 A ridge of high pressure from Explorer to the Central Coast willremain quasi-stationary through Wednesday. This ridge will generate
strong northwesterly winds across the southern waters.
Westerly gales through Juan de Fuca Strait will develop this
afternoon, ease overnight, then redevelop Wednesday afternoon.
