By 10:00 a.m. PST Saturday low located over southern Explorer.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over
northern BC interior.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:18 PM PST 1 March 2024 A ridge of high pressure over the interior and a broad low pressure
system offshore will combine to give gale force outflow winds to
Douglas Channel and Dixon Entrance - east, and the Central Coast
tonight and Saturday.

An area of low pressure approaching Southern Vancouver Island will
produce strong to gale force easterly winds to Haro Strait and Juan
de Fuca Strait - east entrance Saturday morning then ease midday.
