northern Vancouver Island.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Sunday dissipating ridge located on a line
north-south over northern Vancouver Island.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight low 1018 mb located 30 miles west of Cape
St. James.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday dissipating low 1021 mb located over
Hecate Strait.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday building ridge located west of the offshore
waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:17 AM PDT 4 June 2023 A broad ridge of high pressure will build over the Eastern Pacific
today and generate strong to gale force northwesterlies for the
southern waters beginning late in the day. Regions include Johnstone
Strait, the Strait of Georgia and waters west of Vancouver Island.
