northeast-southwest over central Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today low 1009 mb located over northwestern
Explorer.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Monday low 1005 mb located west of Langara.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:44 PM PDT 15 June 2025 A low pressure system moving across Northern Explorer this afternoon
will track north off Haida Gwaii tonight, then track west of Langara
early Monday morning. Gale force southerly winds have developed
Over Explorer this afternoon and will spread to Queen Charlotte
Sound, west coast Haida Gwaii - southern half, Hecate Strait, Dixon
Entrance and West Coast Vancouver Island North from this evening to
early Monday morning.
