Marine Weather Statement
Issued 8:04 AM PST 22 January 2026 High pressure over the BC Interior will strengthen tonight.Moderate to strong outflow winds through the mainland inlets and
valleys will increase to strong to gale force this evening.
Meanwhile, extensive fog over the Strait of Georgia will persist
today but is expected to lift Friday afternoon. Elsewhere along the
BC coast, fog patches and low cloud will dissipate this evening as
the outflow flow strengthens.
