northeast-southwest over central Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today quasi-stationary low 1014 mb located over
western Bowie.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today low located west of Explorer.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight low 1010 mb located southwest of Cape
St. James.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 12:11 AM PDT 15 June 2025 A low pressure system is forecast to move across Northern Explorer
today. Gale force southerly winds will develop over Explorer this
afternoon then spread to Queen Charlotte Sound, Hecate Strait, Dixon
Entrance East, and West Coast Vancouver Island North from this
evening to Monday morning.
