By 10:30 a.m. PDT Friday departing frontal system located on a
line north-south over the Central Coast.

Issued 10:22 AM PDT 1 May 2025 A frontal system over Bowie will slowly track eastwards acrossHaida Gwaii tonight and lie on the mainland Central Coast Friday
morning.
Ahead of the front, gale force southeasterlies over Bowie and
northern waters will spread to central waters this morning. Winds
will gradually ease this evening. Winds will briefly rise to
southerly gale force near the headlands of Vancouver Island Friday
morning with the passage of the frontal system. Winds will shift to
moderate to strong southwesterly in its wake overnight over northern
waters and near midday Friday across the central waters.
