At 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located over Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Friday departing frontal system located on a line
north-south over the Central Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday ridge located over Explorer.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:50 PM PDT 1 May 2025 A frontal system over Bowie will slowly track eastwards acrossHaida Gwaii tonight and lie on the mainland Central Coast Friday.
Ahead of the front, gale force southeasterlies over northern and
central waters will gradually ease this evening. Winds will briefly
rise to southerly gale force near the headlands of Vancouver Island
Friday morning with the passage of the frontal system. Winds will
sharply veer to strong southwesterly in its wake near midday Friday
before easing to southwesterly moderate.
