over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:55 PM PDT 12 May 2025 A building ridge of high pressure over the offshore waters today will
bring strong to gale force northwest winds over the northern and
central waters and to west coast Vancouver Island and Explorer.

Winds will ease tonight except for west coast Vancouver Island and
Southeastern Explorer, where gale force winds can be expected to
persist into Tuesday midday.

Near gale force winds will linger over west coast Vancouver Island
from Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning.
