north-south over Haida Gwaii.

At 1:00 p.m. PDT Monday approaching frontal system located southwest
of Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:48 PM PDT 1 August 2021 A ridge of high pressure west of Vancouver Island and strong daytime
heating over the BC Interior are producing strong to gale force
inflow winds through Juan de Fuca and strong to gale force
northwesterly winds through Johnstone Strait every day in the
Late afternoon and evening. Winds then ease to moderate to strong by
early morning.
