Issued 4:00 PM PDT 16 September 2021 Tonight and Friday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today departing ridge located over southern
Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located over the offshore
waters.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Friday frontal system located from the North
Coast to Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Friday frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:25 AM PDT 16 September 2021 An approaching Pacific frontal system west of the offshore waters
will move across Bowie this afternoon and then across northern and
central waters tonight.

Gale force southeast winds over Bowie and Northern Explorer will
Progress to northern and central waters and Southern Explorer this
afternoon, and then to west coast Vancouver Island tonight. Winds
will reach storm force southeast just ahead of the front tonight.

The front will progress into the South Coast Friday morning. Strong
to gale force southeast winds will develop in the region as the front
sweeps across.

Winds are forecast to ease to moderate to strong westerly in the wake
of the front.
