By 10:00 a.m. PST Thursday departing frontal system located on a
line northeast-southwest over southern Vancouver Island.
At 10:00 p.m. PST tonight ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Queen Charlotte Sound.
At noon PST Thursday approaching frontal system located west of
the offshore waters.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:48 PM PST 12 November 2025 A low pressure system moves onto Vancouver Island tonight. Over thesouthern outer coastal waters, strong southeasterly winds have
developed ahead of the low, while northerly gales are occurring in
the wake of the low.
The system will track southeastward across the South Coast on
Thursday. Northwesterly gales over central and southern waters will
ease as the system moves inland Thursday afternoon.
