waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today ridge located on a line north-south over
Haida Gwaii.
At 4:00 a.m. PST Monday frontal system located west of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Monday frontal system located on a line north-south
over Bowie.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:49 AM PST 8 December 2024 A weakening low over the Central Coast will continue to generatestrong to gale force northwesterly winds off the west coast of
Vancouver Island early this morning.
As a ridge of high pressure builds over the offshore waters today,
the northwest winds will gradually ease.
However, another frontal system is expected to move into the
Offshore waters on Monday, bringing a return of gale force
Southerly winds.
