over the Central Coast.

waters.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight merging frontal system located over the
Central Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 AM PDT 6 October 2024 A nearly stationary front over the Central Coast is generating a
swath too long of southerly gales over Eastern Queen Charlotte Sound,
Central Coast and west coast Vancouver Island. These winds will
persist for the remainder of the day.

Another frontal system will cross the northern waters today,
spreading gales into northern and central waters throughout the day.
Localized storm force southerly winds are expected near
The headlands of west coast Vancouver Island and Eastern Queen
Charlotte Sound this evening as this frontal system merges with
The quasistationary system hung up along the Central Coast.
