Wind variable 5 to 15 knots increasing to southwest 15 to 25 this evening and to southeast 25 to 35 late overnight. Wind veering to southwest 30 to 40 Friday morning then diminishing to southwest 15 to 25 near noon Friday. Wind backing to southeast 10 to 20 Friday afternoon then increasing to south 35 Friday evening except northeast 25 to 35 over western sections.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Friday frontal system located over Bowie.
By 10:30 a.m. PST Friday quasi-stationary frontal system located
on a line northwest-southeast over Haida Gwaii.
At 4:00 p.m. PST Friday low 990 mb located west of Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PST Friday low 990 mb located over northwestern Bowie.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:36 PM PST 3 December 2020 A low pressure centre off Haida Gwaii will track north and weaken off
the Alaskan Panhandle tonight. Ahead of the low, gale to storm force
southeasterlies over central and northern waters will shift to gale
to storm force southwesterly in its wake.
Winds will slightly diminish tonight, but widespread southeast gales
will redevelop Friday morning as another frontal system moves over
Haida Gwaii. Winds will then rise to storm force southerly Friday
evening as another strong low centre moves northwards across Bowie.
