Special weather statement in effect for:
Snow and blowing snow over the Lower North Shore are expected Wednesday.
A storm will move up the American seaboard today and will lie near Newfoundland Tuesday. Snow will begin overnight Monday and strong winds are forecast for Tuesday.
However, weather conditions should mainly deteriorate overnight Tuesday, as winds will become northerlies and temperatures will drop. The combination of snow and strong winds should reduce visibilities significantly on Wednesday.
Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility are expected in some places. Poor weather conditions could lead to travel delays.
