Snowfall warning in effect for:

  • Cumberland County North and Cobequid Pass

Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.

Snow will develop today.

A low pressure system will track towards the Maritimes today and intensify. Snow associated with the low is expected to begin this afternoon. The snow is expected to taper to flurries by Wednesday morning.

Total snowfall accumulations of 15 centimetres are currently expected with local higher amounts possible.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
