An arctic airmass will combine with strong and gusty northwest winds to give bitterly cold conditions by tonight. Windchill values of minus 35 to minus 43 are expected to develop late night and will persist into Saturday morning before beginning to moderate Saturday afternoon as temperatures warm up.

Watch for cold related symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.
