Special weather statement in effect for:

  • Fredericton and Southern York County

Significant precipitation expected beginning tonight and persisting into Sunday for some areas.

Total snowfall: 15-35 cm for Northern New Brunswick.

Total rainfall: Near 30 mm for areas near the Fundy coast.

Locations: New Brunswick.

Time span: Tonight through to Sunday morning.

Remarks: Snow and ice pellets are expected to spread across northern New Brunswick and rain across southern New Brunswick tonight. Snow, freezing rain or ice pellets are expected for the remaining areas of the province tonight, with a change over to rain possible.

Snowfall warnings are in effect over northeastern parts of the province while rainfall warnings are in effect for some southern areas.

Conditions across the province will begin to improve on Sunday.
