Issued 10:00 AM NST 9 November 2025 Today Tonight and Monday At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 1000 mb located over the East Coastof Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday departing low 990 mb located east of the
Grand Banks.
At 8:00 p.m. NST Monday approaching low 997 mb located over Maine.
At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located over the Maritimes.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Monday ridge located over eastern Newfoundland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:48 AM NST 9 November 2025 A low pressure system over the East Coast of Newfoundland will trackeastward to lie east of the Northern Grand Banks by this afternoon.
The low will then depart to the east of the marine district as a
ridge of high pressure builds from the west tonight. Strong to gale
force southerlies to southwesterlies can be expected to the south of
the low today. Winds will diminish throughout the day on Monday as
the ridge builds in from the west.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Northern Grand Banks and Southeastern Grand Banks.
