North Shore.
At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
eastern Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Sunday departing ridge located east of the
Marine District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:21 PM NDT 1 April 2023 An intense low pressure system over Southern Quebec will move intothe Gulf of St. Lawrence tonight and over Southeastern Labrador on
Sunday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will develop over all
waters ahead of this system and will shift to strong to gale force
west to southwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle and Northeast Gulf.
