Issued 10:00 AM ADT 12 May 2026 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today deepening low 1004 mb located near Sable
Island.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday departing low 988 mb located north
of Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located west of the Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday ridge located from the Gaspe Peninsula
to West Scotian Slope.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:39 AM ADT 12 May 2026 A developing low pressure system near Sable Island will move
northeast to lie north of Newfoundland by tomorrow afternoon. Strong
to gale force west to northwesterlies will develop later this evening
in the wake of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan - eastern half, and Cabot Strait.
