By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday trough located south of Nova Scotia.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:50 PM ADT 15 April 2021 A trough of low pressure will approach the southwestern marinedistrict Friday morning and will move to lie south of Nova Scotia by
evening. Strong to gale force easterly winds will develop ahead of
the trough then shift to strong westerlies south of it.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore,
LaHave Bank and West Scotian Slope.
Outlook for the start-up of the eastern shore lobster fishery.
