By 3:30 p.m. AST Monday departing trough located over Newfoundland.
At 3:30 p.m. AST Monday approaching ridge located near Cape Cod.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 8:05 PM AST 15 December 2019 A trough extending southward from an intense low pressure systemcurrently over Western Labrador will move east of Newfoundland
Monday. Gale to storm force westerlies are expected tonight and
Monday.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, eastern half of Gulf-Magdalen and
Anticosti. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.
In addition, freezing spray warnings are in effect for Cabot Strait
and all of the Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
