Issued 3:30 PM NDT 9 September 2026 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located on a line east-west over
the southern Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday departing trough located southeast of
the Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT Thursday approaching trough located over the
Maritimes.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over western Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Thursday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the southeastern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:20 PM NDT 9 September 2026 A trough of low pressure will approach the district from the west on
Thursday. Strong to gale force southerlies will develop over western
waters on Thursday ahead of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf waters and Southwest Coast.
