Issued 3:30 PM AST 15 December 2025 Tonight and Tuesday At 3:30 p.m. AST today intensifying low 960 mb located over
Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday low 942 mb located northeast of
Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over southern Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over the western Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:17 PM AST 15 December 2025 An intensifying low pressure system near Newfoundland's South Coast
will track northeastward to lie east of Newfoundland by late this
evening. Winds are gale to storm force northwesterlies behind the low
across the marine district, and will diminish tonight.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters except Fundy and Grand Manan.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand Manan,
Northumberland Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, Chaleur - Miscou, and
Anticosti.
