Issued 3:30 PM AST 4 December 2025 Tonight and Friday At 3:30 p.m. AST today trough located from Labrador to Cape Cod.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Friday trough from 987 mb low located from the
Quebec Lower North Shore to Laurentian Fan.

At 3:30 p.m. AST Friday low 966 mb located east of Newfoundland.

At 3:30 p.m. AST Friday ridge located west of the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:17 PM AST 4 December 2025 An intensifying trough of low pressure approaching from the west will
move east to lie over the Gulf of St. Lawrence by evening, and east
of Newfoundland by Friday afternoon. Gale to storm force westerlies
will develop in the wake of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen - northeastern half, and
Anticosti - southeastern half. Gale warnings are in effect for
remaining waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, East
Scotian Slope, and Laurentian Fan.
