Issued 3:30 PM ADT 24 October 2020 Tonight and Sunday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the St. Lawrence River.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located from Labrador to Prince
Edward Island.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today Hurricane Epsilon 958 mb located at 38.5N
59.0W.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Sunday Hurricane Epsilon 965 mb located at
42.8N 51.1W.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:29 PM ADT 24 October 2020 At 12:00 P.M. ADT, hurricane epsilon was located near latitude 37.9
north and longitude 60.3 west or approximately 620 nautical miles
southwest of Cape Race. Maximum sustained winds were estimated at 70
knots and central pressure at 958 MB. Epsilon is moving northeast at
11 knots.

Epsilon has made its anticipated northeast turn and will continue to
accelerate toward the northeast tonight. It will pass through the
Southern Grand Banks on Sunday as a hurricane or a very powerful
post-tropical storm.

Strong to gale force easterlies will continue over southern waters,
then become gale to storm force northwesterlies early Sunday morning
as hurricane epsilon passes to the south of the marine district.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan. Marine interests are also advised that gale warnings
are in effect for East Scotian Slope, Banquereau, Cabot Strait, and
Anticosti - western half.
