Issued 3:00 AM ADT 13 October 2024 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today departing low 976 mb located northeast
of Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday low 1002 mb located over Long Island.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Monday low 998 mb located near Grand Manan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:07 AM ADT 13 October 2024 A low pressure system will move northeast and away from the marine
district today. Strong to gale force westerly winds will become
northwesterlies as the low moves away. Winds will diminish from west
to east tonight and Sunday. On Monday another low will move up into
the Bay of Fundy and will spread southeasterly gales mainly over the
Gulf of St. Lawrence into Monday evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait and all Gulf of St. Lawrence
waters.

Outlook for the start-up of the Upper Bay of Fundy lobster fishery.

Sunday...Northwest 20 knots diminishing to west 15 near noon and to
southwest 10 to 15 in the evening. Seas 1 to 2 metres subsiding to 1
metre or less in the afternoon.

Monday...Winds light becoming easterly 20 knots in the morning and
increasing to east 25 to 30 knots near noon. Winds becoming southerly
25 to 30 in the evening. Seas 1 metre or less in the morning building
to 1 to 2 metres near noon.

Tuesday...Southwest 20 to 25 knots. Seas 1 to 2 metres.
