Issued 3:30 PM NST 9 November 2024 Tonight and Sunday At 3:30 p.m. NST today dissipating low 989 mb located over Funk
Island Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today deepening low 985 mb located south of the
Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Sunday low 975 mb located east of Funk Island Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located over the Great Lakes.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Sunday ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:20 PM NST 9 November 2024 A low pressure system over the Funk Island Bank will dissipate this
evening. Meanwhile, a second deepening low pressure system south of
the Grand Banks will replace it, moving northward to lie east of the
Funk Island Bank by Sunday afternoon. Strong to gale force
southerlies can be expected ahead of the lows, with gale to storm
force northeasterly to northwesterlies in their wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
East Coast, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and
Northern Grand Banks - western half. Gale warnings are in effect for
all remaining waters except Northeast Gulf.

Marine interests are also advised that large waves and pounding surf
will produce higher than normal water levels along the coast from
Bonavista Bay to Cape Race, especially near high tide tonight and
Sunday.
