Issued 10:00 AM NDT 8 October 2024 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line north-south over
the St. Lawrence River.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday trough located over the western Gulf
of St. Lawrence.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
western Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located on a line north-south
over eastern Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:45 AM NDT 8 October 2024 A trough of low pressure will approach the marine district from the
west on Wednesday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will spread
over gulf and southern waters Wednesday ahead of this trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port and Southwest Coast.
