Issued 3:00 AM NDT 21 September 2021 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today weakening low 1000 mb located southeast of
the Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing low 1006 mb located southeast of
the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over northern Labrador.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary trough located on a line
east-west over northwestern Labrador Sea.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over eastern Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located on a line east-west over
Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:55 AM NDT 21 September 2021 A low pressure system southeast of the district will slowly move
southeastward away from the district today. Strong to gale force
northerly winds will this morning as the low moves away and a ridge
of high pressure moves southeast of Newfoundland.

A trough of low pressure will stretch across the Labrador Sea later
today. Gale force southwesterlies will develop over the Strait of
Belle Isle near noon between this trough and the ridge of high
pressure to the southeast.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Northern Grand Banks and Southeastern Grand
Banks.
