Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:47 AM ADT 23 October 2020 At 12:00 A.M. ADT, hurricane epsilon was located near latitude 32.6
north and longitude 61.6 west or approximately 165 nautical miles
east of Bermuda. Maximum sustained winds were estimated at 75 knots
and central pressure at 968 MB. Epsilon is moving north-northwest at
Epsilon is expected to make a turn to the north then northeast on
Saturday and pass through the Southern Grand Banks on Sunday as a
hurricane or strong post-tropical storm.
Strong to gale force east to northeast winds are expected to develop
over southern waters between hurricane epsilon and a ridge of high
pressure to its northeast.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope and Laurentian Fan.
