By 4:00 a.m. NST Friday low 980 mb located over northeastern
Newfoundland.

Issued 3:48 AM NST 12 February 2026 A low pressure system southeast of Nova Scotia will track northacross Newfoundland tonight and across Belle Isle Bank on Friday.
Strong to gale force northerlies to northeasterlies will develop over
all waters ahead of this low as it approaches.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea - southeastern half.
