Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:44 PM AST 17 November 2025 A low pressure system over the Gulf of St. Lawrence will slowly track
northward into Labrador overnight. Strong to gale force westerly
winds are expected across the marine district in the wake of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore,
Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot
Strait, Northumberland Strait - eastern half and Gulf Magdalen -
eastern half.
