Issued 3:00 AM ADT 6 September 2026 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today low 997 mb located over southern Banquereau.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday low 997 mb located over northern Banquereau.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT Monday departing low 999 mb located over
Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:39 AM ADT 6 September 2026 A low pressure system over Banquereau will remain nearly stationary
today and tonight. On Monday the low will move slowly northward to
lie over Newfoundland Monday afternoon. Strong to gale force
northeasterlies over northern and eastern waters will gradually
diminish later today and Monday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Fourchu, Banquereau - northern half, Cabot Strait,
Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, and Anticosti - southeastern
half.
