to Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Belle Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today low 997 mb located south of Sable Island.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 989 mb located over the northern
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:59 AM NDT 19 March 2024 A low pressure system south of Sable Island will track northeastward
across the Grand Banks today. Strong to gale force southwesterlies
will develop over southernmost waters this afternoon and diminish
overnight tonight as the low passes.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Southeastern Grand Banks.
