Issued 8:00 PM AST 6 December 2023 Tonight and Thursday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight quasi-stationary high 1025 mb located
over Quebec.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight intensifying low 992 mb located south of
the Marine District.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Thursday low 972 mb located over the southeastern
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:48 PM AST 6 December 2023 A low pressure system will track south of the slope waters this
evening and intensify south of the Grand Banks by Thursday morning.
Strong to gale force northerlies are expected for the southeastern
slope waters.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope - southern half and Laurentian Fan - southern
half.
