Issued 3:35 AM PDT 15 April 2026 Northwesterly gales over the offshore waters continue today as aridge of high pressure strengthens over the Pacific Ocean. Gales will
spread into west coast Vancouver Island this afternoon as the ridge
approaches the BC coast.
A trough sweeping across the southern waters will bring a risk of
thunderstorms and waterspouts this morning and afternoon.
