Issued 4:00 PM NST 3 March 2021 Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 p.m. NST today trough located on a line east-west overthe South Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Thursday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the North Labrador Coast.
At 4:00 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary low 976 mb located over
southeastern Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 4:00 PM NST 3 March 2021 A trough of low pressure over far southern waters will move to lieover the North Labrador Coast on Thursday. Meanwhile, a low pressure
system over Southeastern Labrador will remain nearly stationary for
the next couple of days. Gale to storm force east to northeasterly
winds can be expected to the north of the trough. With strong to gale
force southeasterly to northeasterly winds to its south.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville.
