Issued 4:00 AM NDT 17 September 2021 Today Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today departing low 995 mb located east of Cape
Farewell.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today low 984 mb located over Hudson Bay.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Saturday trough from low located on a line
east-west over Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
the North Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:52 AM NDT 17 September 2021 A low pressure system east of cape Farewell will depart the area
early this morning. Strong to gale force west to northwesterlies will
diminish today in the wake of the low.

A second low is expected to cross Northern Quebec from the west on
Friday. Gale force westerlies will develop over northern waters late
in the day on Friday as the low nears Cape Chidley.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, Northwest Labrador Sea -
southern half, and East Labrador Sea - southern half.
